Breakfast was amazing, nice views, beautiful location adjacent to lovely gardens, meadows and high hills, forest groves and the stunning South Downs. We had a lovely sized room and pleasant staff. It also had an en suite bathroom and lovely beds - all for a lovely stay.

It was truly a perfectly pleasant stay out of town, the hotel met required needs. The employees were top-class and kept it all perfectly clean. The location was unbeatable and exceptionally nice, to a great pub The Red Lion which does really good home made food at a good price, and the view was marvellous, too.

Thank you for the comfortable stay out of town. Its location is marvellous, just off the beautiful gardens, and Eastbourne for the tennis tournament in Devonshire park. There's cool The Triangle Cafe around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel, make desserts etc. 100% recommend this venue to everyone, nothing too much trouble.

All in all everything was great, had a quite comfortable stay out of town. The location was marvellous, so close to a farm 're sheep/horses/cows and lovely garden area to sit in.

I loved this lovely old place, stayed there for 1 night. The staff was extremely helpful and top-class all the time. I was given newly renovated and stocked room just how expected it to be with tea, hair dryer, for instance. The breakfast food was amazing and reasonably-priced. Handy remote location not far from the coast, farm, and local pub. Plus, distance to Butts Brow was only 1 km.

Everything was excellent as expected, but the bathroom was tiny. Extremely helpful staff, couldn't ask for more. The English breakfast was marvellous and had a great selection of meals. There are many airy and delightful rooms. The atmosphere is family and everyone from the staff are pleasant. All in all they offer exceptional service. Besides, parking is onsite. The location is cute, 2 km from Butts Brow. It is in a nice enough area.
